Our Solution
The clients are young, dynamic and with a very open mind. The house had costed them quite a lot and they didn’t have all the money they would have liked to make the space of their liking and utility. We introduced them to the idea of recycled furniture and helped them source a lot many wooden doors and windows from the recycled wood market. They purchased various sets of doors and window shutters for a steal. Once we had these items we went about finding reasons and excuses to use them.
Practically every wall of the house was demolished after due diligencies on structural safety. The house was completely re-organised in context to 2BHK and converted it in to a flexible studio apartment concept – Open kitchen, Family room, Lounge, Study area and Sleeping space. Other artefacts like – lights, picture frames, etc. too were sourced from recycled markets.
